Please note that these markets are not in any particular order. Also, there are so many great markets in the Netherlands that we can only select and talk about a few of them here.

Albert Cuyp Market, Amsterdam
The Albert Cuyp Market was established in 1905 and is one of the most popular markets for locals and tourists alike. The market is open from Monday to Saturday and has around 260 market stalls. This makes it one of the largest in Europe.
The stalls offer a range of items including fresh vegetables, fruit, accessories, clothes, flowers and beautiful fabrics.
The Albert Cuyp Market is located in the heart of ‘De Pijp’, a vibrant 19th century neighbourhood also known as the Latin Quarter. De Pijp is a popular residential area that has become one of the most lively districts in Amsterdam. It’s full of artisan shops, cosy cafes and quality pubs, that give De Pijp a unique character and charm.
Don’t forget to pick up a real Dutch treat, like kibbeling or a hot stroopwafel!
Noordermarkt, Amsterdam
The Noordermarkt began way back in 1623. That makes it over 400 years old!
A visit to the Noordermarkt on a Saturday is a must. It offers a variety of unique products, and the nearby Organic Market and Lindengrachtmarket add even more shopping fun.
In and around the market square, as well as in the surrounding Jordaan streets, you can enjoy delicious food and drink at some of Amsterdam’s best cafes and restaurants.
Bloemenmarkt, Amsterdam
The Bloemenmarkt is a picturesque floating flower market on the Singel canal. It is the perfect place to buy souvenirs, tulips, and bulbs of all kinds.
Unique in Europe, the Bloemenmarkt is a must for anyone visiting Amsterdam. Located along the Singel canal between Muntplein and Koningsplein, the market sells tulips, daffodils, and various bulbs.
The Amsterdam Flower Market dates back to 1862, when merchants used barges to transport flowers from the suburbs to the city centre. The merchants displayed their vibrant and rare flowers along the Singel canal. This tradition continues today, allowing visitors to experience the historic charm and beauty of the market just as it was over a century ago.
The Bloemenmarkt is open 7 days a week.
De Haagse Markt, The Hague
Visited by around 35,000 people four days a week. The Hague Market, known locally as ‘De Haagse Markt’, is one of the largest multicultural markets in Europe. The market offers a unique mix of antiques, modern goods, and exotic products all in one vibrant location.
In the lively food area you’ll find a delightful mix of Dutch and international offerings. Fresh Dutch cauliflower sits alongside fragrant coriander, sweet baklava, sharon fruit, fresh fish, and yardlong beans.
The colourful flower market is very pretty, while the clothing and footwear sections offer a wide range of styles to suit all budgets.

FeelGood Market, Eindhoven
The FeelGood Market is a lively and vibrant event that combines handmade, original, and inspiring products with delicious organic snacks and drinks, engaging workshops, and fantastic live music.
The FeelGood Market is held on the third Sunday of each but not every month. Check here for the next one. The market is all about sustainable, artisan, and handmade products. It is a place where creativity and sustainability meet.
Indulge in a variety of regional and international foods and unwind while listening to live music. The market also has a spacious terrace where you can relax and take in the vibe.

Organic Farmers Market, Utrecht
Every Friday, the Vredenburgplein in Utrecht is transformed into a bustling hub of fresh, organic produce at the Organic Farmers Market.
This market offers a unique opportunity to buy quality organic produce direct from local farmers. You’ll find a range of fresh vegetables, fruit, artisan breads, cow and goat cheeses, delicacies, meats, and sustainably caught fish.
All products are farm fresh and high quality.
Pure Markt, Various Locations
At Pure Markt, you’ll find a range of delicious foods, drink, and unique non-food items. The market is about 70% food and 30% non-food items. It is an ideal destination for a leisurely Sunday outing.
The vendors are passionate about their products, and are eager to share information about ingredients, origins, and production processes.
Treat yourself to a juicy burger, savour fresh oysters, sip on a cold beer, or a slice of cake and coffee. Bring a blanket and have a picnic on the grass with the little ones and enjoy!
