Plant-for-the-Planet has earned our admiration for their tireless work to restore ecosystems by planting trees around the world. Their noble mission, focused on empowering children and youth to become “ambassadors for climate justice”, fits perfectly with our own vision. By encouraging the restoration of tree ecosystems in communities, we can collectively contribute to the sequestration of carbon dioxide and the preservation of these vital ecosystems. This project will help stem the loss of biodiversity in the region, a key driver of climate change.
Thanks to the generous donation of the Euroinnova Foundation, the ecosystem will be enriched by the addition of 111 trees to the green ring of Granada. This contribution not only recognises the critical importance of restoring forests and preserving biodiversity, but also demonstrates our shared determination to mitigate the effects of global warming.
